We restored this door 15 years ago for a client and now back with us as he’s changed it.
Door and frame brute heavy and built to last centuries
Had some minor sympathetic repairs here in the workshop
we didn’t overdo this so it keeps its antique appeal and will look like the original door to your period property.
This has survived amazingly well and weathered. We gave it 2 coats of Danish oil on the front to feed and protect
The back of the door would need a light sand and varnish if you want a better finish. we like as is

old door furniture but will need new locks
Will need some playing about with to swing nice by your fitter. It is near 2 centuries old.
