James McEwan set up his business at Leith and was the first of six generations of the family engaged in club making. This was a unique family totally involved in professional golf who, though principally club makers, where also first-class players.
 
CONDITION IS VERY GOOD. HAS HAD PREVIOUS RESTORATION IN IT'S HISTORY. 
 
NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH LATER AND LESSER QUALITY BESPOKE PUTTERS. NOT MANY SURVIVE.
