Present
A distinctive antique Victorian stained glass window panel, circa 1870, recently restored and presented in a painted timber frame.
The central hand-painted oval depicts a horseshoe, hammer and associated tools, suggesting a blacksmith or farrier theme. Two decorative diamond-shaped panels feature yellow painted foliage.
Will have a final clean this week
The surrounding glazing combines etched geometric designs, yellow decorative motifs and an attractive selection of textured glass. Details include diamond-patterned starburst bands, dotted textured panes and an ornate amber-yellow border.
Its arched shape and unusual subject make this an appealing feature for a period property, converted forge, equestrian setting or interior display.
