Heavy solid door.

Original Cast iron letterbox. we replaced the studs as most were missing.

We stripped the front of years of awful varnish. Done carefully by hand so the door retains its original look. No stripping chemicals.

Bottom repaired and we made a new weather bar from reclaimed oak to keep to period.

The inside shows portcullis sections and look fabulous.
