This product is a solid oak front door from the 1890s, featuring an antique English Period Cottage style. The door is made of reclaimed old wood with a cast iron glaze, adding to its historical charm and character. Original Cast iron knocker and letterbox. we replaced the studs as most were missing.
We stripped the front of years of awful varnish. Done carefully by hand so the door retains its original look. No stripping chemicals.
blanked out the locks and hinges so the door can now be hung from either side.
Ready for final sand and oiling and will look fabulous
We can alter the door larger or smaller within structural tolerances.
We can also make a bespoke oak frame with built in drafters all round inc the sill
