The product is a pair of antique stained glass French doors from the Edwardian period, with an Art Deco design. These reclaimed doors feature intricate leaded glass in a regence style, crafted from pine wood. The antique original piece adds a touch of history and elegance to any space, making it a unique and stylish addition to any home or property.
Original doors were in a pretty bad way so we decided to give the the full beans in the workshop.
Stripped by hand with no chemicals back to bare wood. Locks hinges etc blanked out.
We saved the original hand painted birds from the original glass and built a new set of panels and results as in photos. Exquisite and unique.
Two coats of acrylic primer on the front applied.
Ready for final prep and finish.
Non rebated so we can alter to open to your preference.
Doors can be altered larger or smaller within structural tolerances.
Bespoke frames with integrated draughters all round can be made if used externally. Internal we can make a lining kit to suit.
